Getting Involved
Taking care of one another is not the sole responsibility of one person or group. It is a community effort; we must do what we can to ensure that our world sustain for generations to come. The Ladies believe that those who are affected by a decision have a right to be involved or have some degree of influence over any process and outcome related to its legislation, execution and adjudication. We are actively evolve in various philanthropic and community service adventures. We support various causes ranging from Toys for Tots to Mental Health and Wildlife Conservation. The funds raised support education, resource, an awareness efforts on a local, state, and national level.

For the Ladies of Lambda Xi, Philanthropy and Community Service is about more than throwing money at situations, but we understand funds help. The Leading Ladies alone have raised over $1,500 for charitable organizations in 2022, and generously contributed to other organizations' philanthropic efforts. We have also volunteered a significant amount of time to community service in out perspective communities.
Domestic Violence Awareness
Domestic violence, or intimate partner violence (IPV), effects us all. Nearly 1 in 5 women and 1 in 7 men experience some form of IPV in their life. African American women experience domestic violence at a rate of 35% HIGHER than Whites. The overall survivors' rate of intimate partner violence is a mere 54%.
PCOS & Reproductive Health
Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, or PCOS, is found in 1 in 10 women worldwide with women of color being disproportionately effected. It is a "invisible illness" that effects the ability to reproduce because it cause miscarriage, gestational diabetes, and preeclampsia.

PCOS isn’t just about reproductive health, though. It's also is linked to other serious, life-threatening metabolic syndrome issues and health concerns.
WOC & Technology
Women worldwide perform 66% of the worlds work and earn less than their male counterpart. More than 41 million girls in the world are denied primary education, and less than 4% of Women of Color (African American and Latina) are earning Computer Science degrees because less than 1% plan to major in it. However, they make of the vast majority of students interested in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).
The Donation
This photo campaign is about more than a picture. It is about bringing awareness, support, and resources to disproportionately disadvantage communities who are at the center of their epidemic.
