Lambda Xi Phi SL Sorority has zero-tolerance for hazing and bullying. Hazing is defined as the imposition of strenuous, often humiliating, tasks as part of a program of initiation. Bullying is defined as any action that intentional seeks to harm, intimidate, or coerce unwanted behavior.SecondLife is meant to be fun, engaging, and entertaining. This is a virtual space that we treat with respect. Any activity or actions put forth is for entertainment and fun purposes only.

Anti-hazing and bullying policies are not just outlined for the Sorority, but it is detailed in the SecondLife/ LindenLab User Agreement. If ever action are deemed harmful to a persons real life, it will be handled accordingly.

Lambda Xi Phi SL Sorority requires that its members, and potential members, conduct themselves with respect, encourage high cultural, intellectual, and moral standards in public. We aim to present ourselves in a way that reflect the ideals and principles of the Sisterhood.

There is a standard that members and potential members of Lambda Xi Phi are held to uphold. Prior to seeking membership, a candidate must understand that respect, trust, communication, dignity, responsibility, and loyalty are a must, Treat yourself and other in the Greek community how you want to be treated. Sorority hoping will not be tolerated
Q: Can I apply for membership if I was previously a member of a different organization in SecondLife?
A: Yes. Lambda Xi Phi understands that finding a proper sisterhood is sometime trial and error. You may apply for membership if you are 45 days removed/dismissed/ inactive from last organization AND meet the other minimum requirements.
Q: What is the application process like to become a Leading Lady?
A: The application process to become a Leading Ladies member involves submitting an application, going through an interview process, and completing a 4-week intake (pledge) process. We look for applicants who align with our values and are committed to personal and professional development.
